Keg Beers

Gin Lane – 5.0% ABV
*Launching exclusively at the event!

In a journey that brings together two of the nation’s favourite drinks, the prosperity of Beer Street brings out the best in Gin Lane. Lemon and lime aromas give way to herbal, spicy hop flavours and finally a dry, pleasantly bitter aftertaste created by adding gin botanicals to the brew, including ground juniper berries and crushed coriander seeds. Crisp and sharp, with a distinctive gin flavour, Gin Lane is the perfect tonic.

Polar Beer – 5.0% ABV

Polar Beer is a sunshine yellow blonde ale, brewed with Polaris, a new-generation German hop. We’ve commemorated our first use of this hop by naming the beer after it, Polaris being another name for Pole or North Star. Ale and Lager malts combine to create a smooth, crisp malty base with a sweet nose, followed by refreshingly light and distinctive herbal flavours from the Polaris hop.

Zitrus – 3.5% ABV
Also available in cask on our Great Welsh Beer & Cider Festival Bar

Light and slightly hazy, Zitrus is brewed with Wheat malt and uses a distinctive Berliner Weisse yeast that combines with Galaxy and Mosaic hops to produce a sharp, zesty and slightly spicy beer that is refreshingly quaffable.

Stars and Stripes – 4.5% ABV

A naturally hazy golden coloured ale brewed with wheat malt and Californian Ale yeast. An all-American hop line-up of Chinook, Centennial, Citra and Amarillo gives aromas of grapefruit and tropical fruit on the nose, citrus flavours and a crisp bitterness, making Stars and Stripes a deliciously drinkable and refreshing beer.

Atomic Blonde – 4.0% ABV

A hoppy blonde ale brewed with Pale Ale and Lager malts, Atomic Blonde is hopped with Citra, Amarillo, Summer and Mosaic. A burst of tropical fruit aromas leads to flavours of peach and sweet grapefruit to create a refreshing beer with a balanced bitterness.

Crowded Hops – 4.6% ABV

Crowded Hops is a New Zealand pale ale crammed with Kiwi hops. This light copper coloured beer is hopped with Dr Rudi, Pacific Jade, Nelson Sauvin and Pacifica giving it a tropical burst balanced with a grapefruit sharpness and a subtle fruity wine character.

Weiss Weiss Baby – 4.9% ABV

A traditional Bavarian style Weissbier (“white beer”) brewed with malted wheat and Hallertau Tradition hops. This naturally cloudy beer uses distinctive Weissbeer yeast to produce a light, refreshing beer bursting with fruity banana flavours and spicy cloves.

Weiss Weiss Berry – 4.9% ABV

Infused with a blend of summer berries, Weiss Weiss Baby is given a sweet berry burst.

Bottled Beers

Barry Island IPA – 6.0% ABV

Created by Simon Martin, aka Mr Real Ale Guide, this India Pale Ale was inspired by the ‘IPA revolution’ across the pond. The boy from Barry has used a trio of hops from the US in this pale coloured ale, which is bursting with citrus aromas. A unique smooth malt taste upfront is finished off by a vigorous bitterness and a ‘tidy’ clout of citrus and berry hop flavours.

Boilermaker – 6.5% ABV
Winner of the 2012 Ultimate IPA Challenge

Boilermaker is a copper-coloured IPA brewed with Ben and Tom from Thinking Drinkers. Brewed with Chinook, Simcoe, Cascade and Willamette hops and matured with Penderyn whisky infused oak chips in casks from the distillery, the arts of distillation and brewing combine to create an epic Welsh IPA adorned with a fragrant citrus aroma, a touch of spice with hints of vanilla and a warm whisky finish.

Bragging Rights – 5.0% ABV

Based on an ancient Welsh beer style called bragawd, Bragging Rights is a lightly golden pale ale. The addition of honey, followed by a blend of nutmeg, coriander, black pepper, cloves, cinnamon and ginger, create a refreshing beer that is initially sweet yet spicy at the same time.

Atlantic White – 6.0% ABV

Atlantic White blends the tradition of Belgian ‘Wit’ beers and the hop-character of American IPAs to produce a ‘White IPA’. Brewed with wheat malt and Belgian wit yeast the addition of freshly crushed coriander seeds, Curacao orange and US hops gives a light refreshing beer with a zesty and spicy finish.
